Social Event: Kayaking at Lake Pleasant with Team RWB

Join West Valley Women Veterans as we team up with Team RWB for a fun morning of kayaking and camaraderie at Lake Pleasant on Friday, June 14th!

 Location: Pleasant Harbor Marina
Address: 40202 N 87th Ave, Peoria, AZ 85383
(From Carefree Hwy, turn north on 87th Ave, then left on Harbor Blvd. Parking is on the right—free for Veterans! Take the shuttle down to the kayak launch.)

Schedule:
• 6:45 AM: Arrive at Pleasant Harbor
• 7:00 – 9:00 AM: Kayaking around the calm lagoon area
• 9:00 AM: Breakfast at Dillon’s (right next to Go Paddle AZ). If you’re not kayaking, join us for breakfast!

Kayak Rental:
• $20 for a single kayak (2 hours)
• $35 for a tandem kayak (2 hours)

What to bring:
• Just yourself, sunscreen, and your sense of adventure!
• Flotation vests are included with rentals.

Important Info:
• Desert Harbor offers free parking for Veterans. Use the entrance with the blue awnings, then take the shuttle to the launch area.
• We’ll meet and sit at the picnic tables under the awning.
