Crafting Connections: A Veterans Gathering
Join Home Base Arizona, Hammer & Stain Paradise Valley, and Veterans the Gathering for a welcoming evening centered on conversation, community, and new connections. September 11 can carry different meanings and emotions for each person. This gathering offers Veterans, service members, and members of the military-connected community a comfortable and positive way to spend the evening with others, without any expectation to revisit or discuss difficult experiences associated with the day. Attendees will have an opportunity to meet other members of the military community, connect over a shared interest in Magic: The Gathering, and learn more about the programs and opportunities available through Home Base Arizona and Veterans the Gathering. Whether you are a longtime Magic fan, completely new to the game, or simply looking for a welcoming place to spend time with others, you are invited to join us. There is no cost to attend. Hammer & Stain will also offer unique Magic: The Gathering-inspired craft projects for anyone who would like to create one. Projects are completely optional and will be available for individual purchase. Our hope is for this gathering to be the beginning of an ongoing series where Veterans and members of the military-connected community can continue building friendships, enjoying shared interests, and connecting with others. Attendance is free; registration is encouraged.
